ChangeTheWorld Ontario Youth Volunteer Challenge

ChangeTheWorld Ontario Youth Volunteer Challenge was a provincial government grant intitiative with the purpose of providing youth with volunteer opportunities to support their volunteer requirement for graduation.

As the project manager, I was responsible for securing the grant funding, participating in province-wide committee meetings, hiring and supervising staff during the implementation phase of the project, overseeing budget expenditures, measuring outcomes and completing all final reporting.

Over the 7 years of the project, we were able to engage almost 3,200 students in volunteer activities, namely supporting community gardens.
